tropimed®PDA
is an eBook you can read on your PDA (Windows / Windows Mobile
/ PalmOS / Symbian / Blackberry), by simply installing the Mobipocket
Reader software.
To view the contents you must first download the Reader from Mobipocket.

Downloading the Reader
|

Visit the page http://www.mobipocket.com/en/DownloadSoft/DownLoadReaderStep1.asp
|
| b. |
|
Click on Download and Save the
file.
|
|
|
|
|
NB: Non-supported Windows®
users can download an individual installation package without
the PC installer.
|

Installing the Reader
|
|
|
|
PC installation
|
|
a. |
Open
the file you have downloaded
|
|
b. |
Follow
the instructions on the screen
|
|
|
|
PDA
installation
|
|
a. |
Connect
the PDA to the PC
|
|
b. |
Launch
Mobipocket Reader
|
|
c. |
Click
on "Tools" and then on "Install new device"
|
|
d. |
Select
your PDA and the profile you want to install the Mobi Reader
|
|
e. |
Wait
the end of the "Downloading setup files" process
|
|
f. |
Perform
a HotSync and wait until your PDA appears on the screen
|
|
h. |
After the application installed successfully, the Mobipocket icon
will appear on your PDA screen.

3.
Installing the Tropimed®PDA
|
|
|
|
|
The file TropimedPDA.zip you
have downloaded contains two files of Tropimed PDA.
TropimedPDAs was designed
to use as little screen space as possible (eg. smartphone, symbian
phones)
TropimedPDA
was designed to use as standard PDA screen space (eg. Palm Tungsten,
Pocket PC).

After the reader is already installed:
|

a. |
Click on the appropriate file TropimedPDA;
the file will be opened with the reader on your computer
|
| |
b. |
Click on "File" and select
your device in the "Send to handheld" menu
|
| |
c. |
Perform an Hotsync in order to
synchronise your device
|
|
|

Using Tropimed®PDA
|
|
Read carefully the user manual
included in order to familiarize yourself with the tropimed®PDA
interface.

|
5.
Updating
|
|
If you are updating from an earlier
version of Tropimed®PDA you must handle this:
|
| 1. |
|
Delete the previous version of
TropimedPDA from you devices (Computer and PDA)
|
| 2. |
|
Install
the new file TropimedPDA.prc as described above. |
|
|

The reader and the Tropimed®PDA
are designed to work on all the platforms listed below:

|
- PalmOS:
PalmOS version 4.0 and above: all devices
- Windows Mobile:
Pocket PC 2000/2002/WM 2003/WM 2005: all devices.
- Symbian OS:
Series60, UIQ, Series80, Series 90: see list of devices http://www.symbian.com/phones/index.html
- Blackberry:
Firmware 3.7 or higher
