There is no difference between the two in terms of software. Nonetheless,
the Internet version is constantly updated and also includes online
News.

News and Faxnews ? |

Epidemiological News are available online. Updated
weekly by professionals, they address current issues in travel medicine.
Each News item describes potential consequences for travelers with
links to references and further information. The Search function (by
date and by keyword) allows users to consult News items from the past
two years, which can be sent by email. This specialized service is
available exclusively to subscribers. |

Faxnews is a monthly selection of the most significant
Epidemiological News items. It is sent out monthly to subscribers
in Switzerland and in Germany by fax and gives an overview of the
most important developments every month. American costumers receive
the Faxnews content by e-mail.

The purchase of a Multiple User License allows you
to install tropimed® on several workstations, for use by several
users.
This product is designed for clients wishing to purchase several copies
of tropimed®. The purchase price decreases according to the number
of licenses purchased.

Which license should I choose ? |

Single-User License
A Single-User License allows installation and access for one workstation
only.
For example:
1 license = 1 workstation
1 pharmacy = 1 license |

Multiple User License
The user chooses the number of workstations (either stand alone
or as part of a network) or, in the case of a medical surgery, the
number of doctors using the software.
For example:
2 pharmacies = 2 sales outlets = 2 licenses
1 medical surgery = 1 license x number of doctors

An annual subscription price is set according to the frequency of
use, the number of workstations and the specific requirements. Please
contact us for further information.
For public and private institutions (University, Hospital, Clinic,
Library)
Specially priced Multiple User Licenses are available for public
and private institutions. The price varies according to the number
of users as well as the type of use (commercial, didactic, etc.).

YES with the Internet version.
For CD-ROM use, a PC emulator must be installed. (ex. Microsoft
Virtual PC for Mac).

How do I update tropimed® ? |

tropimed® data stored on your hard disk is updated
via CD-ROM (two new versions are sent out yearly) and also via Internet.
Subscribers are notified by email, letter or fax when Internet updates
are available.

Do I need to enter my password whenever
I use tropimed® ? |

NO! After visiting the www.tropimed®.com
site and logging in for the first time, you will need to enter your
client number and password. Then, if you visit the website at least
once a month (the period during which the relevant cookie will be
stored), this operation will no longer be required.

What is a cookie ? |

A "cookie" is a small amount of data,
which is transferred to your navigator by a Web Server. Data can only
be read by the server that originally sent it.
It operates like a passport by saving your passwords, purchases and
preferences. It cannot transmit viruses.
